Prevent and Prevail is a program created by youth between the ages of 13-16 after leaning the HIV infection rate is highest among people between the ages 13 and 23. The goal of Prevent and Prevail is to have open discussions in a safe, confidential, fun, and all inclusive environment. Some of the topics of discussion include: Relationships and Intimacy, Sex, and Pregnancy Homosexuality, Transsexuality, Religion, Bullying, Drugs, Rape, Date Rape or Abuse, STIs and STDs, Gender Ethics and Laws Regarding Sex. Information is also discussed about stopping the spread of HIV in your community through education, protection and testing.
Transsexual, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Question and Ally youth between 12 and 26 are invited.
